The primary objective of Neko Gemuk system acting as a tool for Malaysian restaurant owners to record basic details of visiting patrons. Neko Gemuk management and/or all the subscribers (mainly “restaurants owners”) DO NOT COLLECT identity card number (NRIC number) from patrons.
With your consent to provide limited information such as name, purpose of visit and mobile number to the restaurants or premises. This tool can be used by the subscribers as an alternative to the physical book record to keep details of patrons. This tool ensures all the information collected at the subscriber’s restaurant can always be retrieved and this tool eliminate the inherent risk of a physical book record. If there are case(s) of infected person who had visited the same restaurant or premises, the subscriber can retrieve the records through the system and provide to the relevant authority to assist on the contact-tracing process.
Upon submission of your information, it will be stored safely in a centralized server. This privacy statement may be amended so please do visit from time to time to stay updated and informed.
If patrons or Neko Gemuk management found any misconduct or abuse of system by any subscriber on the information collected. The patrons and/or Neko Gemuk management has the rights to report to the relevant authority and take legal action against the subscriber. Using Neko Gemuk system would means Patrons and subscribers are deemed to have agreed to this policy and the Terms of Use.
If patrons found their information is incorrect, the patron may write to the respective subscriber via email to request the details to be amended.
Neko Gemuk will only store your information for the duration that Covid-19 exists as a public health threat to our community. After which the data will be eliminated from this system. The use of this system for contact tracing purposes will cease when the Government announces the end of the MCO, and the collected data will be kept for a period of six (6) months. After six (6) months, all data collected through this system will be erased.
All subscribers are responsible to destroy all the information exported from this system within six (6) months after the end of the MCO. All subscribers of Neko Gemuk indemnify the management of Neko Gemuk and its partners from any form of liability related to any misconduct or negligence from the subscribers.
